Worlds Within gardens and poetry: four seasons, one path
A completed path leaves a garden behind. A completed garden gives you a line to keep.
A garden after the puzzle
The raked path remains in the sand after a level is completed. Trees, water and seasonal details make the scene worth staying with, even before you continue to the next puzzle.
Four seasons, forty volumes
After the ten-garden prologue, forty volumes move through spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season contains 500 gardens. The screenshots on this page are actual game captures, not concept art.
Collect lines, revisit poems
Complete gardens to collect lines. The poetry collection shows what you have discovered and leaves undiscovered lines blank. Some records are explicitly marked excerpts, rather than complete poems.
Three languages, independent selections
The interface supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English. English uses separately selected poems, not a translated copy of the Chinese collection. A display record or an excerpt is not necessarily a different original work.
Read the source notes
The in-game sources and public license pages explain the underlying classical texts, public-domain English editions and database licenses. Do not interpret the screenshots as a claim that every poem is fully visible before playing.
